Ruth is a creative conservationist and philanthropist with a particular interest in environmental issues. She has spent the past 15 years conceiving and producing large scale public art exhibitions in London, Edinburgh, NYC and Mumbai. These initiatives have to date raised over £10m for applied conservation projects. In 2023 she founded Coexistence Story, a charity dedicated to raising awareness about the increasing overlap between the human and animal world through storytelling. Their first project, launching in spring 2024, is The Great Elephant Migration, a touring exhibition of sculptures produced by indigenous Indian artisans and communities. All funds raised through The Great Elephant Migration are directed to projects that protect biodiversity and enable people and wildlife to share space.
